I worked at TEKsystems full-time (Less than a year)

The amount of work you put in will correlate to how much money you make but it takes a long long time for that to happen. If you are doing well, you will be liked within the office. I grew a lot as a professional, gained confidence, and learned how to sell.

There is no work life balance- your work will become your life. The people you work with become your friends and family. This is not always a bad thing unless you enjoy working out, being with your actual family, and not feeling guilty about taking a vacation every once in awhile. The politics in this organization is disgusting. If you so much as breath a word of changing the way things get done, you will be reprimanded and forced to do things the corporate way. I am so glad I got out when I did because the money can sucker people in to staying with the company.

    Advice to Management

If you have a super star on your team, make sure you treat them with respect. Listen to ideas from your team- talk is cheap. This is not on the company as a whole, just the location I worked at.
