I have been working at TIAA-CREF

    Pros

Decent benefits and lots of PTO for those who are in a position to take it.

    Cons

Pervasive culture of fear and micromanagement. Lightweight managers that take corrosive shortcuts in leadership. Front line managers who gain through authority what they cannot gain out of respect. It must be viewed as acceptable by the higher ups because it never changes.
