    I worked at TJ Maxx part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    -it's a job
    -other employees are nice, probably because we mutually bonded over how awful it was

    Cons

    -Schedule comes out weekly, often isn't up until Friday or Saturday evenings (Schedule starts on Sunday)
    -Not flexible with employees
    -I got a .50 raise in three years of working. And that's it.
    -The schedules are not set. They say no one would work twice in the same weekend, but they consider Saturday and Sunday different weekends. I quit because they wouldn't give me a set schedule.
    -They push the TJ Maxx credit cards on customers. You get yelled at if you don't get an application a day.(The cards have terribly interest rates)
    -Very little room for promotion unless you're over 40
