    I have been working at TP Orthodontics full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Pays the bills. Free Lunch, Production Employees are great people some have been here for years.

    Cons

    Only pays the bills no extra $. Incentives are rarely given as they require Production, sales etc depts to all do above and beyond. Even if one dept does extremely well one of the others may not so no incentive is given. Huge turn over due to not hiring people with work background, pay to low, HR dept does nothing for staff they report if you stop in with out appt to ask 1 question and you get written up for it. Raises are 2 years apart (if you have been here 10 years then the most you can get is 4%) Management doesn't listen to employee's. We have a suggestion box and have been told this is for only positive comments not complaints. Management says Remember we are not different areas we are all 1 team then says don't complain about other depts just watch your own. Rules are broken by some and they get written up yet others do the same thing and don't. Only reason I am still here is the area employment is down and no one is hiring. CEO doesn't know how employee's actually feel because he never talks to them and his management team are too afraid to lose their jobs if they tell him the truth. He needs to talk to the employees that will tell him how they really feel, with out fear of losing their jobs also or retribution from management when we tell him the truth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper Management has become to harsh, One yells at employee's, treats them like animals. No compassion, Yell when employee's laugh or talk to loud yet sits in office and yells out for staff to come see them..Set an example stop leaving early or coming in late Stop bringing in food on friday but not allowing it on other days when all employees are there. Smile once in awhile. take an anger management course. Go back to the old way of treating employees with respect. TP has made a lot of changes most for the good however the managements treatment of employees has failed rather badly in the last 3 years. Stop putting $$ into landscaping and give back to employees. Changing incentives so that each department production, sales, management, etc can earn their own incentives independent of the others. and by the way Management earns 3 x the incentive then the employee's actually doing the work how is that fair?
    Stop piling work on your good workers and giving less to the incompetent ones.
