I worked at Tangoe full-time (More than a year)

There really are no 'Pros' to working at Tangoe. As a former Client Services Analyst, I have come to the conclusion that this company possesses almost no positive attributes. I did however experience some friendly colleagues, and the work was relatively stress free. In addition to this, the dress code is very lax (see Jeans).

Where to begin? First and foremost, TEM is a dying industry, which will soon be replaced. The vision of the company and direction you are given is completely non-existent. You spend ~8 hours a day in a lifeless cubicle farm surrounded by individuals who are just as bored and fed up as you are. Management offers little to no guidance, however, finds all the time in the world to micromanage the employees. Teams are constantly shuffled around due to the pathetic turnover rate. You will find that most individuals cannot stomach more than a year at Tangoe. In my time there (a little more than a year), I was assigned 3 different managers. As a result, you will spend the better half of your tenure trying to cater to a client (who wants nothing to do with you), only to be assigned elsewhere. Couple this with the fact that most managers are "promoted" as a last resort option, and not merit. In turn, you get somebody giving you orders who barely has a college degree, let alone any real management experience. The majority of people who stay more than a year or two due so on the grounds of a 2nd income. Noone with a respectful resume and half of a brain has any incentive to stay for the long run.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and figure out where you want the company to go
