    I have been working at Target part-time for less than a year


    The few team members that are on the floor (not meaning lod's,) that are nice and friendly.


    There are so many i guess ill start by saying They don't pay hardly anything 7.75 starting out if your out sick or gone off the days you put in for you come back and they punish you by taking your hours away. They have favorites that take away from the hard workers they don't train but like 2min on your first day then put you over a whole department by your self. They hire all these new people and take the hours away from people that's been there for a while. Then if you cover someone's break they take longer than 15 or 30 min break or meal then that backs up other people. They want you to do 5 different things in a 5 hr shift. They sent out a young lady at around 930 or 10 at night the sat before Easter to get almost all the buggys by herself when there is suppose to be a buddy system. They give vibe cards out to there suck ups or lod's only they do not care about there team members. Lod's and team leads let there job title go to there head before the promotion there your friends when promoted they act like there your mom and are control freaks. They train you on something brand new that you never done before and wants it done under an hour because covering long breaks for other team members then the lod comes back and says next time I want it done quicker when there training is 2 min first day then when they teach you something brand new its 5-10 min tops and expect you to be einstien at it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They need a new hr crew that knows how to scedule people right and promote the right people for lod's. and hire trainers that know what there doing instead of trying to show you quick ways to get the job done and at the end it's the wrong way. Lod,s need to be on the same page instead of telling team members on the sales floor one thing and anther lod saying anther. No wonder so many people quit which I'll be the next and go somewhere where they treat you at least decent and not like garbage and pay you more than slave wage!!!
