I worked at Target as an intern for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good compensation, benefits, training materials

    Cons

management reorganization has been ongoing, following elimination of staff ETL positions a few years back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't just cut talent to improve the bottom line. The algorithm for critique and reward is based off of a metrics system that is easier to game, and does not do enough to recognize those in busier stores. The lack of investment in technology is coming back to be a pain, in several store zones.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
