I have been working at Teachers On Call (More than a year)
The company is very responsive to employee needs. It is well understood that the company does not exist if not for the substitute teachers and paraprofessionals. We are treated well and appreciated.
The lack of on-going, daily work can be frustrating, from a life scheduling and financial perspective. The pay is low, considering what is required on the job.
Advice to Management
Seek some type of pay increase on an annual basis. Especially, if not for any other reason, to attempt to retain those who have a choice in whether or not to stay employed at TOC, to stay.
