    I have been working at TekPartners as a contractor for more than a year


    They offer a holiday pay policy, where you're paid for a certain number of holidays after a specified amount of hours worked for TekPartners as a contractor.


    There is no PTO policy and your recruiter barely contacts you, unless it's to give you news about your current assignment. They usually just work to get headcounts to increase their commission. Their commission rate is very high--varies from 18-30%. If you're looking to get a raise, they don't take away from their commission--they ask the company that you're contracting for to pay the increased rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Create PTO policies and formulate a career path for your contractors. Follow up with them on assignments that may fit better with the career path that they are looking for.
