    I have been working at TelePacific Communications full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    The pros to working this position are lower monthly quota, ability to work from home (higher ups don't want you to, but you can), predetermined advancement options

    Cons

    Predetermined advancement options, remote management makes it difficult to relate to customer issues in the Texas region, position is seen more as customer service to competitors than it does a sales position which can hinder personal advancement at other companies, 10% cap on raise in salary even when changing titles unless the management team prepares a justification form.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Telepacific has been able to do great things in the markets in which is started. In order to be successful in other markets, it behooves the management team to spend some time in the new market. If management is unwilling or unable to spend time in the new market areas, it is wise to listen to the successful people who have been in the new market for some time. Ignoring top talent's input for an outdated "winning formula" from another market is a recipe for disaster.
