    Pros

    - Able to build relationships with customers/prospects. - there are many employees that actually have a strong work ethic, that are not in management positions at TelePacific.

    Cons

    - overall, the company is ruled by fear - Negative work environment that trickles down from the top, creating low morale in each department - lack of processes - lack of accountability; too much finger pointing - lack of teamwork that is often witnessed by our customers (i.e, channel conflicts, or miscommunication between Sales and provisioning) - favoritism resulting in undeserved promotions to those who know nuthin' about the business, systems, process or products - uncompetitive pricing puts sales reps at a disadvantage against the other carriers and then we get hit commissions just to be approved for discounted pricing - also, installs can be delayed for long periods of time, impacting the amount of commission paid - high turnover ratio - many depts are vastly understaffed and severely underpaid - valuable/productive employees eventually leave the company due to the lack of improvement in the process and compensation, or the workload just becomes unbearable

    Advice to Management

Stop being afraid to tell the CEO what the true root causes of all the issues are, and actually make some legitimate and feasible suggestions on how to resolve them. If you continue to just be Yes men, you will continue to lose great employees. Make hiring decisions based on knowledge, experience and capabilities, rather than just hiring someone you know personally. This company had potential, but somewhere along the way, upper management stopped caring about their employees, so their employees stopped caring about the company.
