Good managers and staff hamstrung by unprofessional lazy and idiotic middle managers and executives.

    Pros

    Generally friendly co-workers.
There are a few people who actually know the product and how to do their jobs. These people will mentor you if they aren't being swamped with their work.

    Cons

    Sink or swim training methods.
When things go wrong, it's pass the buck and CYA time.
Management and execs always try to 'fix what isn't broken'.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some of you need to retire or get someone under you that knows what the heck is going on. Stop marginalizing people who are trying to do their work and help the customers. Stop buying other small failing CLECs and importing their crap management, shoddy services and nutty customers. Be honest with the customers from first sales contact to last service issue call. Also, like someone else suggested, have a Christmas party.
