    Pros

    Great benefits, awesome residents, great co-workers

    Cons

    Lack of specific job training, three weeks of general orientation that is completely non-specific to the position for which you were hired, people that have been there for decades are very rigid and unreceptive to change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If a new nurse seems to be struggling with a large workload, ask if they need further training. Do not assume that someone is prepared to be on their own after one or two days of job specific orientation.
