I worked at Texas Health Resources (More than 5 years)
Depending on the department, you can find some really good groups of people with which to work. The lower levels of management that I came to know, really knew how to promote teamwork and weren't afraid to work with you.
Some of the higher levels of management have the need for refresher courses in some aspects of mangement, such as real conflict resolution or how to lead by example.
Advice to Management
Be careful not to micromanage or make it necessary for managers under you to micromanage those under them, either. It's a makes a good team when you pair good employees with managers that are able to adapt their style.
