I worked at Texas Hospital Association full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you fight for a higher salary and more responsibility, you usually will have the chance to get it. Most departments are granted a reasonable amount of autonomy.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover rate for an association in couple of departments. Employees have generally either been there for two years or 25 years. You have to really settle for mediocrity to last a long time at THA. Visionaries and risk takers are not welcome.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
