    Pros

The people who work there are completely dedicated to the mission of this state agency! People are completely loyal to the agency and have long tenure.

    Cons

Woefully underfunded agency where people are low paid. Executive are dis-associated from the line employees primarily because so many employees work around the state and never travel to Austin Headquarters.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay and create greater collaboration between departments. Hire executives who are better positioned to successfully achieve funding for the agency from the State Legislature.
