Lots of days off (2 weeks at Christmas, every Friday during the summer, spring break, winter break, Easter, Thanksgiving)
Very casual atmosphere, but not a lot is expected of you
Some colleagues are friendly
University if finally spending money on the school and upkeep - so it's beginning to look like what these kids are paying for.Cons
Depends on who you know - if you work for a terrible boss then you are not going anywhere and there is no one who can, or more importantly, will step up to help,.
Usually in May or August, key people on campus are let go because of a "change in direction"
Lots of uncertainty about "will I be next"
Once you have a target on your back, you will be "fired for cause" - and they will fight your unemployment
