The franchisees are, for the most part, good people, and tend to treat the employees fairly most of the time.Cons
The owner and the CEO do not see eye to eye, which creates a culture of confusion for employees. Many times, they will give conflicting direction to employees, and then the employee pays the price from one or the other when they have to choose which orders to follow.
Every issue that the company has stems from the owner and senior management, but all problems are blamed on the employees, who are not allowed to make decisions or effect positive change.
Some of the franchisees are unqualified, and they aren't making enough money and validate poorly.
The pay and benefits are far below the market standard; very far below.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Let your management team actually manage, and do not micro-manage them.
Hire better, more qualified employees through meeting the industry standard pay levels.
