I worked at The Arc part-timePros
Benefits are good.
Co-workers are fun and talented.
Work itself is gratifying.
While the benefits are good, the management is trying there best to not give you your full package. If that means cutting your amount of vacation hours, not giving you training money, and not giving people contractual wages, they will do it.
The upper management are very unfriendly and other management are very clique-like. While the location is central, the environment is toxic and the staff are treated like they are dispensable so there is quite a turn-over. The clients are great, so it is too bad that the company is so disgraceful to their own hired staff!Advice to ManagementAdvice
Take responsibility for the staff you hire and respect your staff and pay them what's a correct amount listed in a mutual contract. If the agency really believed in it's first rule, everyone being treated with dignity and respect, it would be a completely different experience.Doesn't Recommend
