Decent salary and benefits, good parent company (Cox)

Leadership that's stodgy, incompetent, and just plain nasty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cox should do a clean sweep of AJC management -- in all departments. The leaders are awful. They're uninspiring and incompetent, and they use fear and intimidation to drive results. There's no room for personal growth, as training has been cut to the bone and politics, not performance, often leads to promotions. Oh, and forget about work-life balance. AJC managers will pretty much chain you to your desk, and they will break out the whips, metaphorically speaking, to get you to work harder and produce more. Steer clear of this company.
