I worked at The Berndt Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very casual environment. Work any 60 hours you want each week, dress however you want.

    Cons

Bad, bad office furniture and computers. If you are a ASP.NET developer, avoid this place at all costs. You won't learn a thing here. No standards, they don't even use source control on projects, much less anything even remotely agile.

All projects are a grind. You are bound to lose right out of the gate.

You are expected to be billable for 50 hours per week. This will be emphasized as an "industry standard" during every staff meeting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change! Learn to complete projects profitably. Learn about software development. You are 10 years behind the curve when it comes to development.
