I worked at The Chicago Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fun to work at a museum with like-minded people

    Cons

Paid a very poor wage, overworked and expected to not say a peep

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The senior management has been there a very long time. It's the people in the front lines that are turning over all the time because they do not pay enough. I would move all the low-paying jobs to contract jobs with better hourly wages rather than ask people with master's degrees to work for an intern salary

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
