    I have been working at The Counter part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    The food is great and organic, so you know that when you offer it to customers you're being sincere on how the food is and tastes.
    Most of the staff is really nice and helpful when you need it the most.

    Cons

    Management tends to have some favoritism among certain employees' making work a tad difficult at times.
    There are no benefits since it is a part-time job for everyone.
    When there aren't a lot of customers work seems to drag on.
    Because of management certain employees' are held to different standards then the rest of the staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be professional.
    Don't take out your frustrations on the entire staff.
    Keep your personal opinion of employees' to yourself.
    Treat everyone the same.
