Generally a great employer, but a recent review has made the job less enjoyable

I have been working at The Department for Education (UK) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good atmosphere, work life balance, training and development opportunities; supportive managers

    Cons

A recent review has brought in some changes, including worse terms and conditions for promotees, a 'not enough desks' policy and a reduction in staff without a reduction in deliverables.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Things like increasing working hours from 36 to 37 hours a week won't get any more work out of staff - if anything, you'll get less work.
