I worked at The Gap part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Really enjoyed working at Gap. Worked as a sales associate, cashier, and back-of-house stock associate.
Good, simple environment to start out in.
    Friendly managers.

    Cons

Minimum wage. Opportunities for pay increase were never discussed.
Work stayed at work. No involvement in the community, no culture of building relationships outside the workplace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be great to allow the associates to engage in further training—it could be considered a "dead-end" job because there aren't opportunities to grow.
