I worked at The Goddard School full-time

Easy to get hired, most staff was kind, lots of hours, better salary than most preschools.

You're told that only degreed teachers can be hired in lead positions, yet you are expected to "co-lead" with non-degreed teachers who don't even have credentials--just 'experience.' Some staff was problematic and unkind, creating a hostile work environment; but management was unwilling to actively address it. Your hopes are high that it's a professional and exceptional preschool, yet it seems anyone can get hired and won't be reprimanded for severe insubordination.

    Advice to Management

Allow new hires with degrees and credentials to be hired in lead positions, stop worrying about creating an environment where all teachers are equal, since many will behave in such a way that it becomes very clear who is an asset, and who is a disadvantage. Good people are run out due to failure to address employee insubordination. Bad example for children. :(
