I have been working at The Guidance Center full-time (More than a year)
Overall good quality of care to the consumers and clients. Even the difficult employees stay relatively focused on consumer care. The CEO is very personable and is seen often throughout the campus. Employees often complain that the place has to be run like a business, but the bottom line is that that is what it is - without the focus of making money, the doors couldn't stay open.
High caseload. A lot of tedious paperwork. Inter-department communication is lacking to the point of frustrating. HR and upper management doesn't seem to fully know what happens on the lower levels. Often get threatened to be either written up or put on leave without pay.
Advice to Management
Clear and open communication. Learn what each level of employee does before trying to make and enforce a rule.
