Current Employee - Bookkeeper  in  Claremont, NH
Current Employee - Bookkeeper in Claremont, NH

I have been working at The Home Depot part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Training in all areas of the store
-Bonus checks if your store makes plan
    -Benefits for Part timers
    -Friendly co-workers
-Oppertunity for advancement if you befriend your management

    Cons

    -Management!
-If you are part time, you are forced to cut your hours back significantly in the winter, management likes to cut people they aren't buddies with
    -High theft/Store losses
-Full time means *full* flex, again, unless you are with the "in" crowd

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect everyone who works under you! You were there once yourself! Don't play favorites, it is not proffessional. These are people's lives you are playing with, not robots!
