The benefits are good, that's it.
Middle to upper management is very reactive, not pro active. Commissioned Sales Associates are not given a base salary and are not reimbursed for job expenses, such as business cards, sales props, gas mileage, the list goes on and on.Time off is frowned upon unless you are on death's bed.
Advice to Management
Stop deceiving the public with your so-called promotions, especially Cabinet refacing. There is a promotion every day of the year. As far as I'm concerned , the customer is paying full retail every day and is lead to believe that they are receiving a discount. There are no perks. The blue competitor gives their employees a 10% discount on all purchases. Why doesn't the largest home improvement retailer do the same?
