It has been a job where the stress to pay ratio is not worth it.

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Steady job that doesn't change much. Helping customers come up with projects can be fun.

    Cons

The store is constantly understaffed which puts a bigger load on the associates in order to pick up the slack. Managers like to micromanage including micromanaging associates who work harder and have been there longer than they have. It is to the point of inciting anger from associates .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire enough people for the busy seasons and do not micromanage the seasoned associates who have been there.
