I have been working at The North Face part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You'll have the opportunity to enjoy sincere interaction with customers
Your coworkers will be culturally varied and fun to interact with
There is a consistency to the work in the big city

    Cons

Your sincere interaction with customers will go unnoticed by management
Your coworkers will be busy interacting with each other when you need them most
There is an inconsistency with your schedule, hours, and ability to do your job the best you can

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't throw the kids to the wolves, expect them to be on their feet 32 hours a week, be given little instruction past their first week, and expect the store to run smoothly. The ability to run the store smoothly and optimally is there, the management plan to do so isn't.
