    Pros

The clients are generally great people and interesting companies. A lot of the employees are wonderful people (but there's a high turnover rate, and you don't get to work with many). You get to work some cool events. Group emails have cat pictures.

    Cons

A total lack of company culture—no meetings, no collaboration, no sense of community (despite the small group size). Prepared to be screamed at and called names when you make mistakes. No coaching, mentoring or learning opportunities—pick it up as you go, or prepare to be ripped in to. Pay and benefits leave much to be desired. Serious favoritism at work, and unless you are a chosen one, you aren't going to have the best experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be nice to your employees. Give feedback. Hold meetings. Offer a few perks every once in awhile, and give people a reason to want to sit in a windowless box mass-spamming journalists for 10 hours a day.
