Great people and work culture. Clueless Management.

    Pros

Amazing people. You feel like they are family.
Great work culture. Management tries to make the place fun and stress-free.
Decent but not outstanding products. Though management pumps them up to be greater than they are. Stronger competition is replicating these products, so the future gets harder.

    Cons

Top Heavy senior management. Too many talkers and too few doers. Everyone wants to give orders to others.
Promotions handed out in a haphazard manner to people who have not earned it. It is obvious that the promotion was given first, and the reasons were adjusted in later.
SAVO is a small company, and this should be run very frugally. Instead we see many people with fancy designations making a lot of money without matching responsibilities or revenue generated. Too many levels and managers with 1 report.
Management needs to act fast to get rid of workplace cancers.
Compensation at lower levels is not great. Barely market. Raises and bonuses are nothing to write home about.
No 401k Match. This is not highlighted when they give you an offer.
    Hurting financially.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the people with fancy titles who do not add to the bottom line. Add more doers (QA and Dev people) who will help you produce a good reliable product. Reduce the levels of command to just a few.
