    I have been working at Tillamook County Creamery Association full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    All employees are as passionate about the Tillamook brand as the loyal customers. Great benefits both health and 401K. Collaborative environment for the most part. Tillamook, under the current CEO leadership is implementing programs for continuous improvement on a personal and professional level.

    Cons

    Base salaries for knowledge workers are under the national average. Yearly raises do not keep up with the rate of inflation and the rise in cost of living. Tuition reimbursement is geared toward technical training and not viewed as a personal improvement benefit like all other companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More career advancement opportunities need to be provided. There is limited upward corporate movement. Reconsider tuition reimbursement policies to retain individuals that can be an asset to the company.
