I have been working at Timken full-time (More than 10 years)

Timken has a good short term disability policy for its salaried employees. This is especially useful if you have an injury that prevents you from working for an extended period of time.

Timken is a company in decline and has a poor reputation among its customers in regard to price and quality. Timken has always been expensive compared to its competition, but the quality of their products kept customers coming back. Now, they are just another manufacturer trying to soak up as much profit at the expense of their reputation and long term growth.

    Advice to Management

Go back to what you do best and make the best products in the market. Innovate the industry and your customers will come back to you and you will realize strong profits.
