I have been working at Title Nine full-time (more than 3 years)Pros
The company culture is unique. It's very casual, and management has an open door policy so they are very approachable. Some perks include: BBQs, catered lunches, gift cards for good attendance, gym membership reimbursement, and one year of free clothing (one item per month, to better understand the products being sold). There are also decent maternity benefits, bike/walk to work rewards, company physical challenges, health benefits and 401k.
The employees are diverse in age and ethnic background, which is always cool and for the most part get along well. Even retail positions provide a nice quality of life work schedule.Cons
-Pay is below average, and perks do not make up for that. If you work at the warehouse, there are opportunities for overtime but not really any for advancement.
-Promotions/new openings seem to be given to those who have an "in" and rarely to those trying to upgrade from the warehouse to the corporate office.
-The warehouse positions are almost entirely hourly, corporate is the opposite.
-Raises are hard to come by, and minuscule when they do. Responsibility may increase, but compensation does not necessarily come along with that.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Spend a day, maybe a week in our shoes. Work with us, don't just observe occasionally. Address the real concerns of your hourly employees and you will see a lot less turnover and higher quality performance. Lastly, pay us more! If you can't compete, you can't win.Doesn't RecommendNeutral Outlook
