I have been working at Title Resource Group full-time (more than 10 years)Pros
Good Medical, Dental and Vision benefits. They offer a help desk for IT Support, but it's a 50/50 chance as to whether or not they can help. The people answering need more training.Cons
In my experience raises are not often and when they do happen are quite small. Training on the escrow software is practically non existent. We don't have a training department or even a director. You also have to get in tune with how Coldwell Banker Real Estate wants everything done and fix your workload strategy to match that, NO, we are not owned by them but sometimes feels like we are.
BIG CON: Every year we get hours cut shortly before the holidays. We are still busy the last part of the year and need to work but are expected to cut back yet still provide the "truly remarkable service" they promote. It's my belief that this leaves the executives with a bonus for being under budget for the quarter/year.
The parent brand (Realogy) is traded on the stock market but I've never seen an offering for a discount, although on one town hall meeting they did tell employees if they want to support the company to go out and buy some (stock), as if most of us "average to lower income individuals" have our own brokers.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Clean house with their the executive/senior management group, starting at the top, Anyone that has ever sat down and had a conversation with the President will know what I'm talking about. I have overheard members of her escrow group exclaim "I don't like bringing her to meet clients, you never know what will come out of her mouth" and worse. She's the person everyone rolls their eyes at when they're not looking or is talking on the phone with her. There are a bunch of of fed up people but no one does anything about it. I wish TRG HR would poll the group anonymously. I was told about this site (glassdoor.com) from another TRG employee and I will be doing the same.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEO
