    I worked at Tokyo Joe's full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    It was a new company in the state when I started and everyone was very excited to be there. It was easy to move up to superviser.

    Cons

    The shifts take up your whole day. The pay is not competetive if you consider that In and Out burger starts at $11. Supervisors only make $10 and are pretty much responsible for everything and expected to train themselves. The manager's are rarely available if they are not at the store. Leadership is pretty much non-existent and there is no teamwork encouraged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Communication to the employees you expect to run your store in your absence is very important in a successful company. If you can open communication then the employees who work for you might continue to do so.
