I worked at Toys ''R'' Us part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Relaxed work environment and at times can be "fun." Training is unlike other jobs, boring but not taking very seriously so you can skip it. Hire almost anyone, because of this it is a great first time job.

    Cons

Unprofessional managers. Managers are promoted from within which is good but at extremely young ages and not merit based. The schedules are written by the managers without assistances from Kronos or some other scheduling program which for my store meant: if your last name was at the beginning of the alphabet, you'll get the most hours, and if your name ends towards the end, you get almost no hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop coming into work drunk.
