    I have been working at Tradebot full-time


    Close to 40 hours/week. Good starting pay for Kansas City but only for Kansas City.


    No opportunity for advancement. No opportunity to lead a team. Minimal learning opportunities. You can get paid the same or much more at other trading firms and actual software companies with significantly more upside (and decent health insurance). Much of senior management is just waiting to retire and doesn't care about mentoring or objective assessment come bonus season.
