    I worked at TransCanada full-time (Less than a year)


    Their pay is great, nice offices, vision for the future of the company is promising. Benefits are also really good.


    Poor management, office atmosphere is stifling, management has clear favorites that they single out regularly and the rest are practically ignored. Those individuals new to management have no idea what they are doing, how to lead and also can be seen simply relying on their favorites to carry the workload and then use the favorite to delegate work to others, even though that favorite should not be doing so.

    Advice to Management

    Better train your management in the Houston office. Work on your office culture in the Houston office. Encourage the management in the Houston office to stop the high turnover of the contractors. Just when a contractor is trained, they either leave or are let go. That is not productive and creates resentment in the office.
