I worked at TravelClick (More than 5 years)

Working with driven team members across the globe that really enjoy what they do.

There is to much micromanaging in this company. Many are power crazed. There is no real acknowledgment or incentives for the supporting staff that are actually the reason for client retention. Most perks and bonuses are reserved for Upper management whose only concern is their payday and less concern about the morale of their employees. There is a high turn over due to a lack of retaining talent. There have many dedicated employees who have been overlooked for promotions or blocked from transferred because of favoritism and jealousy. Managers hold back good employees as a control mechanism and in the end the company looses. There is no clear path for growth in this company. You will do the same repetitive work for years without change and if you dear want to expand your knowledge and use some of your other talents, you are quickly shut down with and negative review to keep you in check. Loyalty isn't staying in a place where you are not appreciated, or where you are being used and taken for granted. Know your worth. Don't allow your loyalty to become slavery. Stay loyal to your values. It took me almost 6 years to realize that this company was not as loyal to me as I was to it.

    Advice to Management

Try showing more appreciation for those that actually make this company successful.
