- The Leads/Senior Testers lack management skills, and fail to communicate their desired tasks out to the QA Testers on the floor. They often times fail to even communicate between themselves leading to confusion. - There is a constant struggle of having an unpredictable work schedule that can and will change at a moments notice - - there is no way to view an updated schedule digitally, only is communicated through email or it comes straight from the leads at the very end of the day - Pays an unlivable salary of $10 hr - - They is a serious lack of respect and value for the QA Tester's time while on the job and for the time between shifts - - - At least once a day you will hear a Tester refer to the job as "slavery" - A constant fear from the Testers of being let go my management A direct quote from the Director of QA at Tryarch that perfectly describes the job: "We had to put up with crazy deadlines, insane number of milestones, nearly impossible expectations, changing schedules, surprise builds, and a steady diet of task requests."
Advice to Management
Improve communication and departmental organization and offer a more livable wage.
