I worked at Trumaker part-time (Less than a year)Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDoesn't RecommendNeutral Outlook
Flexible hours. Work from home. Easy going work environment.
Where to begin. This company basically uses you for free marketing and promotion. You are required to do 2 full days of training that are not compensated. During these days you are required to reach out to as many of your personal contacts as you can think of. So even if you never make one sale you have just spread the word to at LEAST 100 people about TruMaker. People can order directly off the website without an appointment for sweaters and things, so this company can still make money off of your contacts if you quit the next day. You are given no leads, and are expected to repeatedly contact your friends and family (phone, email, texts) up to three times to get them to set up an appointment. So before you even have a true grasp on the company and product, you are to hunt down everyone you know and sell to them.
Advice to Management
Understand that people's friends, professional contacts and family are not just free leads.
