I have been working at Trupanion full-time (More than a year)

Trupanion has a staff of motivated and passionate employees, and it's inspiring to be a part of that. Managers are open to new ideas. The company is growing extremely fast so there is a lot of opportunity for growth and learning.

The pay at Trupanion is awful, way less than market value for equivalent roles at other companies. There are also a lot of growing pains as people have mentioned, but I do think managers are doing a better job of handling those pains now. Salaried employees are often expected to work way more than 40 hours per week. The current building does not make me feel safe.

    Advice to Management

More pay to your employees, or at least better bonuses for those that are exceeding expectations. Some sort of match (even if not a full match) for our 401K would be nice. Free childcare is WONDERFUL, if you have a kid..
