I have been working at Twin Peaks full-time (Less than a year)
Flexible schedule, fun environment, meeting all sorts of people every day, excellent bonuses and perks you can't get anywhere else, (Free tanning & Gym membership) + options to travel, and modeling opportunities. NO SIDEWORK for servers! Tattoos & piercings are ACCEPTABLE! As well as mismatched socks.;)
open real late, so long work hours, work off of tips so budgeting is very difficult.aside from what people think, d213 an hour base pay does not go towards a paycheck, it is taken out for tax purposes which usually leads 201 several hundred come tax time. another con, sometimes as a Twin peaks girl, you just don't feel like getting all dressed up ( makeup and hair, first date ready.) Also being graded daily, with a final score after a week or two, to pick sections at Twin Peaks, you are graded on service, appearance, from specific makeup colors for your skin tone, whether you look better with straight or curly hair, to defined and shaped eyebrows; nail appearance, skin, and must maintain a tan. (Which tanning and gym membership is a perk), & being toned and fit, which could be a downfall for some who don't have time to work out. But natural beauty is a plus. If you're thicker, it's still perfectly admirable! But you are required to maintain a healthy diet and take care of your body inside and out.
Advice to Management
COMMUNICATION!! Since most of our scheduling is done by an app, communication between servers and management as well as management two other managers. Ex: I was almost fired due to a manager failing to relay the message of a doctor's appointment and was written down as a no call no show, then taken off the schedule until I was able to resolve the issue. also more one-on-one counseling with managers on grading and how we can improve on problem areas of low scores.
