Not a happy place, full of politics and now run by HR with frequent stack rankings and little coordination across BU.

A few good people with ideas and insights sprinkled around. George and new guy Brian say some of the right things.

Not well managed with lots of politics from the entrenched mid-senior leaders who've made a living out of crunching the lower and new echelons. HR runs this organization with frequent stack rankings right out of the 1980 GE playbook. Can't seem to make the turn from a holding company to an operating company that has to compete on open standards, innovation and cross organization teamwork. Common business systems don't exist. Still very paranoid about the Koslowski era and burdened by auditors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Break it up further, there isn't a growth culture that will sustain Tyco through the transformation and the mid levels are too busy with CYA to tell the bitter truth about employee and customer satisfaction.
