I have been working at Tyco

This type of business does not suffer as much as other companies due to a recession. Most products are necessary, not optional. Several large projects due in the next few years will make this company somewhat recession proof. This company continues to grow, and is actively hiring new employees for many different types of jobs.

The manufacturing plant is old fashioned and a lot of the most experienced employees are close to retirement age. This means that much of the expertise will retire also. This company is very conservative and slow moving, and therefore is slow to develop and introduce new products.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue current path and focus. Leave this small division of Tyco International to manage itself.
