    I worked at U-Haul part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

little hours if you like that

    Cons

they in my opinion are more concerned about their own mgmt. Since one marketing area is owned by one particular person and he employs his own family at different stores in the same division. Hours are changed on a daily basis. you can be scheduled 20 hours for the week when you look at the schedule and it could change the next day and your hours are down to 10 for the week. They don't tell you that at the beginning and they advertise full-time/moonlighters. Well if you don't know moonlighter is part time and will be lucky if you make 24 hours for the week.

    Advice to Management

Be considerate to your part timers. It's not done, I've been there and had items stole from me by another employee. Nothing was done b/c they were mgmt. hmmm.
