I have been working at U-Haul part-time (More than a year)
The store manager at my location will work with the employees to build a work schedule for them that fits well with other time obligations, such as school, other jobs, personal issues, etc.
Pay is terrible for the type of work and the work load. Occasionally hazardous work conditions. Not enough employees staffed to adequately maintain all equipment. Computer system has many issues, causing frequent errors (user not responsible; scheduling errors, unaccounted for equipment, etc). Other customer service deficiencies with 1-800 phone number personnel
Advice to Management
Pay your employees the right amount of $, then you can raise your expectations of them and get rid of under-performers. Stop being so unethical
